The build-up to the 2026 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 has taken a significant step with the reveal of the 26 finalists.
19,806 men’s footballers from 73 countries have voted for their team of the year. The World 11 is the only global football award decided exclusively by professional footballers.
The FIFPRO Men’s World 11 finalists are the 26 men’s football players who received the most votes from their peers for their performances from 4 August 2025 to 19 July 2026 inclusive. Players must have appeared in at least 30 official matches during that period.
The 11 players who received the most votes in their position are then selected for the Men’s World 11, which will be revealed on Monday 9 November at 17:00 CET on FIFPRO’s digital platforms.
Who will make the Men's World 11?
The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards who have received the most votes will be selected for the World 11. The final World 11 spot will be assigned to the remaining outfield player with the next highest number of votes.
