Project ACL 2026 Event

Research on ACL Injuries in Women's Football

Project ACL aims to accelerate research into reducing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries and increasing player availability.

Initially in 2024 a collaboration between FIFPRO, PFA, Nike and Leeds Beckett University focussed on the English Women’s Super League, in 2026 Project ACL expanded to the United States in partnership with National Women’s Soccer League Players Association and the National Women's Soccer League.
