What we are looking for

FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises is seeking a proactive and highly organised Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator to support the growth of our global licensing business. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial partnerships, you will help execute marketing initiatives that strengthen the FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises brand, support commercial partners, and drive the continued expansion of our licensing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of all marketing activities that promote the FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises licensing business, including: Strategic brand communications, sales and marketing materials, commercial events, digital content initiatives, other marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Support marketing initiatives for FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises licensing partners, with a primary focus on video game licensees.
  • Manage the procurement and facilitation of professional football player talent for promotional activations.
  • Coordinate player appearances, content production, and other commercial activations with internal teams, FIFPRO union members, and external partners.
  • Manage tracking and reporting of Player Marketing Fund allocation.
  • Develop brand marketing case studies highlighting the execution of promotional activations.
  • Support the expansion of the FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises licensing business into new product categories beyond video games.
  • Contribute to the growth of the FIFPRO Women's group licensing program, supporting commercial initiatives leading into the Women's World Cup 2027 and beyond.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, new commercial opportunities, and potential licensing partners, while providing insights to strengthen the FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises brand.
  • Provide project management support across FIFPRO Commercial Enterprises properties.
  • Support the wider Commercial team with administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements 

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in athlete marketing, brand partnerships, sports licensing, or similar commercial-driven role.
  • Preferably experience in global football industry with existing network across brands, agencies, leagues, clubs, federations, and rights holders.
  • Experience coordinating stakeholders across internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international sports environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages (French, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Preferably based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
