FIFPRO acknowledges the ruling of the Luis Rubiales case, and stands in solidarity with Jenni Hermoso and all other survivors of sexual assault.
The actions of the former RFEF president have no place in our game and the ruling proves that this behaviour is unacceptable.
However, as can often be the case in such situations, we also acknowledge that the level of punishment by the courts must send a stronger message that addresses the gross imbalance of power and hierarchy present in such circumstances.
