These strategic hires bring extensive experience and expertise across football and athlete representation, further strengthening FIFPRO’s position in the global sports industry.

Al Buset appointed Chief Commercial Officer

Joining FIFPRO as Chief Commercial Officer, Al Buset brings a wealth of experience in commercial strategy, rights brokerage, and event management within top-level football.

With a strong track record in sponsorship and licensing sales across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia, Buset has established working relationships with a broad range of rights holders. His deep understanding of business cultures across these markets will be instrumental in driving FIFPRO’s commercial growth and expanding our partnerships globally.

Buset has held key leadership roles throughout his career, including Sportfive APAC, Asia Football Group and IMG Media. His extensive background in these roles has given him a strong foundation in global football partnerships and commercial development.

Buset shared his enthusiasm about joining FIFPRO: “I am excited to be part of FIFPRO at such a dynamic time for the organisation. The opportunity to contribute to the growth of FIFPRO’s commercial efforts and build strong partnerships that benefit players worldwide is truly inspiring. I look forward to working with our stakeholders to develop innovative and impactful collaborations.”

Cary Grossart joins as Senior Business Development Manager

FIFPRO is also delighted to welcome Cary Grossart as Senior Business Development Manager.
