FIFPRO Africa works to elevate players' conditions across men’s and women’s football in the African continent. FIFPRO Africa consists of ten member unions; it engages the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and regional stakeholders to ensure footballers in Africa have a collective voice and are represented in decision-making.

FIFPRO, WLA reaffirm commitment to industry sustainability and to develop social dialogue in Africa

The constructive regional discussion, where professional leagues and FIFPRO had an opportunity to express their views with respect to labour matters in Africa, was held under the framework of the Global Labour Agreement (GLA).

2024 African Player Workload Report

With this pilot study, FIFPRO Africa aims to shine a light on the workload situation facing African players, provide a voice for African players within and outside the continent, and facilitate discussions at continental and global level on performance, competitions and employment conditions.
