FIFPRO Africa works to elevate players' conditions across men’s and women’s football in the African continent. FIFPRO Africa consists of ten member unions; it engages the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and regional stakeholders to ensure footballers in Africa have a collective voice and are represented in decision-making.

FIFPRO Africa launches campaign warning footballers about fake agents

In collaboration with the Didier Drogba Foundation and the International Labour Organization (ILO), FIFPRO Africa has launched a campaign to raise awareness of African players being targeted and scammed by people pretending to be football agents.

Kgosana Masaseng succeeds Stephane Burchkalter as FIFPRO Africa general secretary

Masaseng, who previously served as general secretary of the Footballers Union of Botswana (FUB), had been deputy general secretary for FIFPRO Africa since 2021. During the two years, he operated closely alongside Burchkalter, learning about the specifics of the role and introducing himself to the network.
