Ever wondered which player has the most World 11 appearances? Or which clubs and countries have featured in the World 11 the most times?

The only global football award decided exclusively by the players, the World 11 depicts the most outstanding footballers in the current game – voted by the players, for the players.

The finalists for the FIFPRO Men’s World 11 and FIFPRO Women’s World 11 will be announced on Monday 2 December 2024, where the football world will learn who is in the running for the 2024 awards. The winners will then be revealed on Monday 9 December 2024 on FIFPRO’s digital platforms.

As we build up to the new teams being named, FIFPRO recaps special World 11 facts, figures, and records – featuring Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wendie Renard and more.

Wendie Renard is the only player to have been named in seven Women’s World 11s to date; the French defender had been voted into every Women’s World 11 since the award started in 2015 before missing out on the 2023 team of the year. Lucy Bronze and Alex Morgan jointly occupy second spot with six appearances each.
