Sports given go-ahead to block overseas players

The European Commission has clarified that EU Member States can implement restrictions on the employment of athletes arriving from 'third countries' despite treaties such as the Cotonou Agreement, which prevents discrimination against African, Caribbean and Pacific athletes employed in EU Member States.

FIFPro Summer School kicks off for the first time

The very first edition of the FIFPro Summer School can be considered as a fantastic success. It was the Australian Brendan Schwab whose proposal for the organization of this Summer School was considered the best after a Brainwave Competition organized by FIFPro.
