Players have trust in mental coaches, but clubs continue to lag behind

A large-scale survey carried out by the Dutch players union VVCS and the magazine Voetbal International offers a good insight into the experiences of the contemporary (Dutch) professional footballer. A large majority of the players are of the opinion that mental coaches have an added value. However, only a few clubs appear to offer their players the services of such a coach.

Indonesian PFA Secures Release of Cameroonian Players from Jail

Two Cameroon professionals Noah Ndjee Bakena and Serge Ngakou Elongo were recently released from Indonesian immigration detention centres with the assistance of Asosiasi Pemain Sepakbola Profesional Indonesia, the Indonesian Professional Footballers’ Association and FIFPro Asia, the regional division of FIFPro, the international federation of professional footballers’ associations.
