In two months we will know which eleven players have been selected by their peers for the 2014 FIFA FIFPro World XI. With the official voting deadline just passed – Monday November 17th – and ballots still arriving in bunches and batches, FIFPro shines a light on several countries: today Indonesia and India.

Indonesia is one of the most challenging countries concerning collecting votes for the FIFA FIFPro World XI, given the country's extensiveness and infrastructure. All the more reason for the Indonesian professional footballers association (APPI) to combine several goals when visiting club's dressing rooms.

Several weeks ago, APPI went to Bandung to visit four teams: Pelita Bandung Raya, Persib Bandung, Mitra Kukar and Persebaya Surabaya, that all compete in the Indonesia Super League. On behalf of APPI, Valentino Simanjuntak (APPI CEO), Bambang Pamungkas (APPI Vice President, BPR player and 86-time international), Firman Utina (Persib and APPI Executive committee member), Greg Nwokolo and Ricardo Salampessy (Persebaya, APPI Executive committee) all participated in one or more visits.

It was a successful visit, as APPI added 85 new players to its membership, while also collecting 102 votes.

In India, the footballers association PFAI launched its campaign with a visit to 2014 I League champions Kingfisher East Bengal from Calcutta. The club's marquee player, New Zealand international midfielder Leonidas "Leo" Bertos officially posed with the ballot.

The PFAI not only visited clubs from the "old" I League (such as Bengaluru FC, Dempo SC, Salgaocar FC), but also entered the dressing rooms of the India Super League (ISL), which was launched in October this year. Among the ISL clubs visited were FC Goa , North East United , Delhi Dynamos , Kerala Blasters, Mumbai City FC, with some familiar "old" faces such as Robert Pires, Joan Capdevila, and FIFPro Tournament veteran Miguel Garcia.
