The national dispute resolution chamber of Peru has sanctioned Colegio Nacional de Iquitos with a points deduction, because the football club had not paid its players Caslo Ismodes and Juan Montenegro (photo).

The Peruvian Primera División will deduct four points from Colegio Nacional de Iquitos, currently number 15 in the 16-team league. It is the first time that a team is sanctioned since the drastic changes in Peruvian professional football last year.

Carlos Ismodes and Juan Montenegro turned to the NDRC of Peru, after not receiving their wages for the 2009 season. The NDRC ordered CNI to fulfil its obligations, but until this moment the club has refused to pay both players their salary.
