Three footballers of the French team that participated in this year’s FIFPro Tournament have signed a contract. Nicolas Haquin signed in France, Jonathan Mendes is heading for Spain, while Moncef Zerka will move to the United States of America.

Nicolas Haquin signed a two-year contract with Vannes, a team from the National division, the third level in France. The 30-year old attacking midfielder, who scored twice at the FIFPro Tournament, previously played for Guingamp and Clermont-Foot.

Jonathan Mendes came to terms with Getafe. The midfielder will join the team from Madrid, that ended 16th in last year’s Primera División. The 22-year old Frenchman signed for one year. Previously Mendes played for Standard Liège and Tubize (both Belgium) and reserve teams of Olympique Lyon and AJ Auxerre.

Moncef Zerka (pictured above), who is about to turn 30, has agreed to join the New England Revolution, the current number 9 in the Eastern Conference of the Major League Soccer in the USA. Zerka is a former forward of AS Nancy and FC Nantes. Last season the Moroccan veteran played at Iraklis in Greece.

Haquin, Mendes and Zerka are the three first players of this year’s Team UNFP who have found a new club.
