Finland is the winner of the first FIFPro Winter Tournament. In the final in Oslo´s Vallhall, Team JPY narrowly beat Norway. Ireland secured the third place after playing the bornze final against Sweden.

 

The final between Finland and Norway was a real thriller. Zakaria Ahassine opened the score for Team JPY with a long distance strike. Norway made a strong comeback with two goals scored by Arnar Forsund (header) and Daniel Moen Hansen (rebound). But Finland made it 2-2: Ahassine crossed and Tommi Siekkinen scored. In the end, Finland proved to be the better team, winning after 6 penalties each.

 

In the bronze final, Ireland beat Sweden:1-0. Former Shelbourne forward Mark Leech scored the only goal for Team PFAI.
