FIFPro Division Europe will send a five-men delegation to the upcoming meeting of the Professional Football Strategy Council in Monaco on August 26th.

 

At the meeting with the three other stakeholders in European Football (UEFA, EPFL and ECA) FIFPro Division Europe amongst others hopes to reach a final agreement on the Minimum Requirements for Standard Player Contracts.

 

On behalf of FIFPro Division Europe, the following representatives will attend the meeting of the Professional Football Strategy Council:

  • Philippe Piat (president of FIFPro Division Europe, president of UNFP, France),
  • Theo van Seggelen (secretary general of FIFPro Division Europe),
  • Bobby Barnes (board member FIFPro Division Europe, deputy chief executive PFA, England)
  • Luis Rubiales (president AFE, Spain).

 

Leonardo Grosso, the president of FIFPro, will attend the meeting as an observer.

 

Besides the Social Dialogue, there will be other issues discussed during the meeting of the Professional Football Strategy Council, such as financial fair-play and match-fixing.
