FIFPro Division Europe has called on its members to gather Tuesday 9 March for an extraordinary General Assembly. The reasons behind this extra meeting are the latest developments with regard to the Social Dialogue and the possible impact of the new Lisbon Treaty.

Representatives of all 24 members in Division Europe are expected to meet at FIFPro’s headquarter in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.  They will discuss four important topics:

  • The implementation of the New Lisbon Treaty on Sport
  • An update on the Social Dialogue in professional football
  • UEFA’s initial proposal on Squad Size Limits
  • The financial crisis in professional football
