"It's like a bubble. All of a sudden it could end."

Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Harry Kane, Leonardo Bonucci and Lieke Martens open up to FIFPro about life as a professional footballer, and how all players need a support system.

In a show of solidarity for players worldwide, of which an estimated 60,000 are covered by FIFPro, Italy and AC Milan defender Bonucci said "our aim is to help those less fortunate."

Knowing that most players exist in precarious, badly-paid conditions, a fact underlined in FIFPro's 2016 survey of nearly 14,000 pros, Real Madrid star Ronaldo added "a union can really help those players who don't get what they want from their career."

FIFPro offers tailored services for professional footballers, such as legal and career planning advice, via a global network of 63 affiliated player associations. For more information, contact
