Brazil and Chile 2 will play the final of the Torneo FIFPro América, the first tournament for out-of-contract players in South America.

Brazil reached the final by winning both its games in Group A. First they beat Perú 2-1 after a quick 1-0 by Paulo Henrique Miranda in the fourth minute and a long distance strike from Nelson Aureliano: 2-0. Edson Mejia's penalty kick made it 2-1, but Peru could not manage an equalizer in the closing minutes.

The second win did also not come easy, as Brasil had to make a comeback after Chile 1 took the lead with a Francisco Huaiquipán penalty. But Brasil squeezed past the host team thanks to Paulo Henrique Miranda’s magnificent free kick and Jarbas Jardim Fernandes’ shot: 2-1.

Chile 2 began with a solid 3-1 victory over Uruguay, thanks to a beautiful looping shot from Rubén Castillo (1-0), a solo act from Victor González (2-1) and a cool finish from Gabriel Vilches (3-1).

Chile 2 then managed a goalless draw with Argentina, and booked a place into the final on goal difference as Argentina only beat Uruguay 1-0, after a Gonzalo Martin Santillán goal.
