The board of FIFPro recomposed its five committees during the general assembly in Budapest. Almost every committee has got a new face among its members.

The Financial Committee welcomed Sérgio Marchi as a new member. The current secretary general from the Argentine FAA joins Rudi Novotny, Gianfranco Serioli and Alberto Lopez Moreno to take care of FIFPro’s finances.

In the Regulations Committee Gábor Horváth is the successor of Silje Vaadal. The general secretary of the Hungarian HLSZ will form this committee with João Nogueira da Rocha, Carlos Puche and Stefano Sartori.

The Strategic Committee also received a new member. Bobby Barnes, deputy chief executive of the English PFA, replaced his countryman Mick McGuire and takes a seat in the committee that also consists of Fernando Revilla, Carlos Pandolfi, Mads Øland, Stéphane Burchkalter and Tony Higgins.

Iván Zamorano and Vladimir Leonchenko are the two new faces in the Technical Committee. Markus Juhola left this committee, in which Simon Barker and Gernot Zirngast are represented as well.

The Women Football Committee remained unchanged. Milene Castilho, Cheryl Salisbury, Caroline Jönsson, Marit Fiane Christensen, Maria Tsigoni Rella and Frederique Winia will watch over women’s football on behalf of FIFPro.
