At the FIFPro congress in Kuala Lumpur, 10 and 11 Novermber 2010, the general assembly was presented a large number of presentations. Via the Extranet, all FIFPro members and candidate members can get access to the following presentations.

All 4 FIFPro Divisions presented their most important activities since last year’s congress in Budapest, November 2009.  

Secretary general Theo van Seggelen informed the general assembly about the most recent and important decisions made by FIFA and developments.  

FIFPro lawyer Wil van Megen prepared four presentations:

  • Olivier Bernard Case
  • Morgan De Sanctis Case
  • Integrity
  • Match fixing

Tijs Tummers, secretary of FIFPro’s Technical Committee, held a presentation about a number of very important football matters related to incidents during the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

  • Goal line technology
  • Football pitches
  • The World Cup Ball ‘Jabulani’ 

Ad Dieben, responsible for the FIFPro World XI, commented the current situation of the FIFA FIFPro World XI and the collaboration with FIFA.  

Louis Everard, one of the founders of the FIFPro Tournament, held a presentation about the future of this tournament for players looking for a new contract. .

David Howman, director general of the World Anti Doping Agency WADA, spoke in detail about the WADA.

Steven Bryce and Reynaldo Parks of ASOJUPRO, the footballers’ association of Costa Rica, received the 2010 FIFPro Merit Award because of their charity program FUT.I.VAL.
