Following a comprehensive governance review, which was approved by an overwhelming majority of member members, FIFPRO has made significant changes to the composition of its board.

The number of board members has been reduced from 18 to 12 in order to streamline decision-making processes and enhance the organisation’s efficiency.

An interim board is now serving until the FIFPRO General Assembly elects a new board and President in November. This interim board consists of individuals with diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in the football industry, ensuring FIFPRO continues to represent and advocate for the interests of professional footballers worldwide.
