Aganzo, who played for many years in LaLiga, Aganzo is president of Spain's Asociación de Futbolistas Españoles and has been a FIFPRO board member since 2018.
He replaces Philippe Piat, co-president of France's Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionels, after two consecutive four-year mandates as president. He also held the role from 2005 to 2007.
Speaking at the General Assembly, Aganzo spoke of the challenges that await, the personal responsibilities he now has, and the message he has for member unions all over the world.
