- Which of the 23 finalists will make the World 11?
- World 11, voted for by the players, to be unveiled on 27 February at The Best FIFA Football Awards
The build-up to the 2022 FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 has taken a significant step with the reveal of the women’s squad.
The only global player award decided exclusively by footballers, the World 11 depicts the most outstanding footballers in the current game.
The FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 squad consists of the best 23 women’s players based on their performances during the period 7 August 2021 to 31 July 2022 inclusive.
The 10 players within the squad who receive the most votes in their position are then selected for the World 11. The final spot in the World 11 is assigned to the remaining outfield player with the next highest number of votes. The World 11 will be revealed at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2022, to be held in Paris on Monday 27 February 2023.
