FIFA FIFPRO World 11
  • World 11 is an all-star team that depicts the most outstanding players for 2021/22

  • The only global football award decided exclusively by players

  • Find out more about how the voting process works and when the winners will be revealed

The FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 and FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11 are comprised of the best footballers from around the globe – voted by the players, for the players.

Since 2005, the World 11 has depicted the best players in each position and is the only global award decided exclusively by players.

How does the process work?

The World 11 is voted for by professional players from around the world. FIFPRO and affiliated players unions distribute unique links that give players from all professional football clubs access to a digital voting platform.

Footballers pick the three players who, in their opinion, were the most outstanding in the 2021/22 season in each of the following positions: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards.

The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards with the most votes in their position make it into the World 11. The 11th spot is assigned to the outfield player with the next highest number of votes.

Players are free to choose any of their peers. The voting tool contains a suggestion list, but players are allowed to add other names if they are not mentioned on that list.
