FIFPRO welcomes the decision taken by FIFA’s adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee regarding the ban of Bimo Wirjasoekarta, the President of Indonesian club Tira Persikabo.
Following complaints by FIFPRO, Wirjasoekarta was banned by the adjudicatory chamber after being found guilty of acts of intimidation, coercion, threat and exploitation towards a player.
As the global players’ union, FIFPRO’s priority remains the safety and wellbeing of footballers. We will continue to advocate for the rights of players.
