Xavi (Hernández) is one of the five players that appear to be untouchable in the FIFA FIFPro World Xi. The midfielder of Barcelona and the national team of Spain returned to Zurich for his fifth successive inclusion in the FIFA FIFPro World XI.

Another big tournament and another major trophy for Xavi. In 2012, he held the Henri Delaunay Trophy as vice captain of the Spanish national team. With Barcelona he also managed to pick up his second Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup).

At Euro 2012, Xavi put on a very special display during Spain’s group match against the Republic of Ireland. He concluded 136 passes, which is a record at European Championships, according to Infostrada Sports.

Passing is Xavi’s game. The 32-year old midfielder combines a great vision and understanding of the game with a passing ability that is rare.  He can score too. In 2012, he was Barcelona’s second leading scorer after Lionel Messi.

With 119 caps Xavi is the outfield player with the most appearances in the history of the Spanish national team.
