The first FIFPro Tournament in America will take place in Santiago de Chile. On the 21st and 22nd of January footballers without a contract from five countries will participate in this competition.

Only another five days to go and they will once again all be on the same stage: the eleven best footballers in the world. Next Monday sees the unveiling of the FIFA FIFPro World XI 2010 at the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala.

Robert Koren retained his title Best Slovenian Player. The 30-year old midfielder from Hull City was chosen by his colleagues in a vote organized by the Slovenian footballers’ association SPINS.
