FIFPro asks EU to improve sporters’ civil rights

The civil rights of professional sporters are not sufficiently respected in the fight against doping. It is the task of the EU to promote the recognition of these civil rights, said Theo van Seggelen, FIFPro secretary general.

The Chilean professional footballers association Sifup celebrated the best of this year’s first semester, chosen by 508 players in Chile. More than 250 active and former footballers attended the gala, a first for the Chilean union.
