FIFPro remained bitterly disappointed after ECA, EPFL and UEFA had explained they are still not ready to sign the autonomous agreement on the minimum requirements for standard player contracts in European football.

FIFPro, ECA, EPFL and UEFA have combined forces to tackle the growing problems concerning the fulfillment of players’ contracts. All parties have agreed to create a working group.

The Danish and Greek players' associations have worked closely together to get Kasper Risgård’s contract with Panionios annulled. The case is an example of the many clubs in Europe that do not pay their players on time.
