Just one day left before FIFPro reveals which 55 footballers are on the shortlist for the 2010 FIFA FIFPro World XI. A short summary of some of the participants.

On 14th January 2011, Oslo will play host to the first FIFPro Winter Tournament. The players’ unions of Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden will be participating in this new event for footballers seeking a new club.

The Slovenian professional footballers’ association SPINS and players from the Slovenian first division support the campaign Choose pink future. Choose life. They do it by wearing pink shoelaces.

The Spanish players’ association AFE is going to install defibrillators in each stadium of the Spanish third division. And the national team will help the union supplying other clubs with the same equipment.
