Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) recently prevailed in an important case involving Football Federation Australia’s (FFA) insurance obligations to A-League players.

The Portuguese Union of Professional Football Players (SJPF) and the Football League are in the process of revising the Collective Bargaining agreement (CBA). Recently they agreed on a set of special measures.

‘We think that for the moment this is a good CBA for the Swedish players.’ Magnus Erlingmark, of the Swedish professional footballers association, is satisfied with the agreement on the new CBA in Swedish professional football.

A mammoth, hard-fought and joyful milestone. That’s how the South African Football Players Union describes its latest achievement: the signing of the collective bargaining agreement with the Premier Soccer League.

Spillerforeningen, the Danish PFA, has won an important victory for its members. Two-thirds of Danish clubs now have to take out new insurance policies for players and the League has been fined for breaching the CBA.
