The Irish professional footballers’ association PFAI is surprised and disappointed with the withdrawal of Monaghan United from the League of Ireland. Currently the team was bottom of the Irish Premier Division.

FIFPro Division Europe representatives discussed, among other things, Third Party Ownership of Players, Supranational Competitions and Club Academies in foreign countries.

PFA Scotland is delighted that the new owners of Rangers FC accept the union’s position concerning the players’ rights and interests. However, some of the players demand more information, according to the PFA.
