FIFPro celebrated the presentation of the 2011 FIFA FIFPro World XI with a meet and greet with the players. Special guest at this event was the winner of the FIFPro Facebook competition, Sebastián Yalle Vázques.

FIFPro has invited Sebastián Yalle Vásquez to the FIFA Ballon d’Or. The 13-year old schoolboy from Peru earned a chance to meet the FIFA FIFPro World XI by sending in the best prediction in FIFPro’s Facebook competition.

Led by Óscar Lepe, the Sifup (Union of Chilean Professional Footballers]) team is continuing to train in preparation for the FIFPro Tournament for out-of-contract players, to be held on 20 and 21 January.

For the second consecutive year FIFPro Division Americas will organize a FIFPro Tournament for players looking for a new contract. The Chilean footballers’ association SIFUP hosts the two-day event in Santiago.
