Points deduction in Peru after non-payment
The national dispute resolution chamber of Peru has sanctioned Colegio Nacional de Iquitos with a points deduction, because the football club had not paid its players Caslo Ismodes and Juan Montenegro.

Court orders 'La U' to pay for unjustified dismissal
The Second Labour Court of Santiago has considered the handling of the dismissal of former Chilean international Rodrigo Rivera ‘inadmissible’, ruling that Universidad de Chile must pay $49,500,000 (euro 67.000).

Colombians make resolution to address crisis
Carlos González Puche, the president of the Colombian footballers’ association, has criticized the football clubs of Colombia, because various teams from the country’s top division have failed to fulfil their financial plights.

Peru: two teams suspended after non-payment
Sport Aguila de Huancayo and El Idunsa de Arequipa are not allowed to participate in the Peruvian Second Division. Both clubs have failed to meet various criteria. For example, they had not paid the 2009 salaries.

Ecuadorian association celebrates 7th birthday
The footballers’ association of Ecuador (AFE) celebrated its seventh anniversary. At Hotel Oro in Guayaquil City AFE welcomed several well known footballers and honoured special guests.
