One day to go before FIFPro reveals the 55 players on the shortlist for the 2011 FIFA FIFPro World XI. Currently, FIFPro is counting the latest votes that arrived in the last few days. Votes from all over the World.

FIFPro proposes changes to the Whereabouts system of WADA. FIFPro is of the opinion that the system is an example of inequality under the regulations; there are many different interpretations in the various countries.

Representatives of 150,000 athletes (including professional footballers) from across the globe voted unanimously to establish a federation of world player associations. 'Global problems need global solutions.'

The FIFPro family has three new members. Morocco, Serbia and (under reservation) Costa Rica are official members of FIFPro. Four other unions have been nominated as candidate members.
