The United Sikkim Sports Club (Sikkim) became the first club in India to follow the Standard Players Contract that has been suggested by the Football Players Association of India (FPAI).

Next week, FIFPro will be welcoming its members to Tel Aviv, Israel, for the annual general meeting. From Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 November, representatives of 54 trade unions for professional football players will attend the congress.

FIFPro wants to congratulate the Japanese professional footballers association JPFA on having acquired the formal status of Labor Union from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Labor Relations Committee.

For the third time, the Indian professional footballers’ association FPAI organized the Indian Football Awards. At this event the best players in Indian football were celebrated by their peers.

A special day at the office of Professional Footballers Australia (PFA), where three prominent members paid a visit to cast a vote for the 2011 FIFA FIFPro World XI: Simon Colosimo, Harry Kewell and Adrian Leijer.
