Vålerenga and Liverpool show racism the red card
The Norwegian professional footballers’ association NISO and Norwegian club Vålerenga IF will organize a special anti-racism event next Monday, when Liverpool visits Vålerenga for a friendly match.

Italy: 15 clubs gone, 270 players the victim
Italian professional football is in danger of losing fifteen clubs. The clubs, all playing in the Serie C1 or Serie C2, are in financial difficulties. Around 270 professional football players have lost their job.

Swiss and French players meet once again
The team of the Swiss footballers’ association (SAFP) was one of the surprises of the 2011 FIFPro Tournament. Two of its players signed a contract. This Friday, Team SAFP will play their French colleagues of Team UNFP.

Buducnost surreptitiously changes players’ contracts
Two football players from Montenegro were surprised by their club FC Buducnost, which unilaterally terminated its contract with the players. It transpired that FC Budocnost had surreptitiously changed an article in the contract.

FIFPro invites four new European players' unions
In September FIFPro will organize a special meeting for new footballers'associations from Eastern Europe, namely the players' unions from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Malta and Slovakia.
