FIFPro Division Europe hosted the Second European Footballers Championship in Marrakech, Morocco. A photo impression of this special golf tournament for current and former professional footballers.

The fight for a place in the top ten of the individual competition of the Footballers Golf Classic was hard, as the best players made it a very close game. There was not much doubt about the winner of the team competition.

The professional footballers associated in NISO - the Norwegian players’ union – ended their strike. They reached an agreement with the Norwegian clubs about a new collective bargaining agreement.

Cosmin Contra was the big winner of the European Footballers’ Golf Classic. He beat all other footballers and picked up the trophees for being both the best individual player, and a member of the winning All Star Team.

All FIFPro members attending the general assembly of FIFPro Division Europe in Marrakech, Morocco, held a minute of silence to commemorate the death of Serbian footballer Miroslav Opsenica.
