Players in the Second, Third and Fourth Divisions of Cyprus are planning to go on strike in the weekend of 2 and 3 January, the PASP decided. FIFPro fully supports this action from the players union.

Sergio Ramos and his team Liga BBVA beat Frédéric Kanouté's Africa United during the second Champions for Africa match. The football players managed to raise more than 350 thousand euro for Unicef and the Kanouté Foundation.

Frédéric Kanouté and Sergio Ramos are the captains of the Champions for Africa match. 53 footballers will participate in this charity event, organised by Unicef and the Kanouté Foundation, and supported by AFE.

Jakob Poulsen was in the spotlights during the gala of the Danish football players. The midfielder was voted as best player in his country’s league by all professional footballers in the Danish leagues.

Football players in Poland crowned their colleagues. It was the third time the Polish players’ union PZP conducted a vote for footballers in the country’s two top divisions.
